.: Renovation Plan : Part 2 :.

Today i have 3 appointments with the contractors..Earlier morning, I met up with Haji, our previous contractor..I'm just wanna get a quotation for the PS for the whole house..After taking all the measurement, he is asking RM3200 for the workmanship after he calculated based on below calculation :

Workmanship = RM80(per day) * 4 (person) * 10 (days of work) = RM3200

Anyway, all the materials I need to buy separately, and after I calculated, it might be cost me around RM2000..So if appoint him to be my contractor for the PS, it will cost me around RM5200..

Then, the next appointment is with Mr Lai, also the contractor for PS..And after taking the measurements and select the PS design, he is quoting me RM3867.60..That cost include all the materials + installation..Erm, the price is quite reasonable + attractive..So for the design, there is pictures below for the hall, and for upstairs, we only put the cornice since there is existing PS provided by the developer..

And for the last appoinment, I met up with Bahri, the contractor for grill..After taking the measurement for all the windows + sliding doors, he is quoting me RM7116 (Wrought Iron for complete home) and RM9116 (Wrought Iron for complete home + gate)..I think we might be appoint him as our grill contractor since his price is quite reasonable and still within the budget :)..

Anyway, below is the latest update for the checklist of renovation work :

1. Get MPSJ permission for the renovation work - Status : DONE. Didn't require permit since the renovation work is done inside the house..The permit will be needed if the renovation is done outside the house
2. Get developer permission for the renovation work - Status : Not Done
3. Call Patric KC for the appoinment - Status : Confirmed, Saturday 27th February @ 2pm
4. Got quotation from Bahari for the Grill - Cost : RM7116 (Wrought Iron for complete home),RM9116 (Wrought Iron for complete home + Gate) - Status : Choose wrought iron design
5. Got quotation from KH Construction Metal Works for the Grill - Cost : RM5800, Wrought Iron (hollow) for complete home - Status : Canceled
6. Got quotation from Orbit Networking Marketing for the Auto Gate - Cost : RM2400, Auto Gate, with Cable Armour Conceal - Status : Will Consider
7. Got quotation from Lai for the PS - Cost : RM3867.60 (installation + materials) Status : Confirmed the PS design
8. Got quotation from Haji for the PS - Cost : RM3200 (workmanship) + RM2000 (price estimation for the material) - Status : Canceled
