.: Renovation Plan : Part 8 :.

Last week it was a busy week..Since my family also came to KL for my little sis convocation @ UIA Gombak + settle all the new house matters..

Early morning on last Saturday, I sent my family to UIA Gombak for my sis convocation..Then I went to Mitrajaya to get the permission for the house renovation + paid RM1500 for the deposit..

After that, I went to the house to check whether they are start doing repairing the defect or not, and I'm quite surprise since they already do the repair works and almost finish touch up all the defects..

I went to Bahari showroom/factory again, to check the grill progress + paid RM2600..Below are some pic taken during my visit..

Bahari told me, on Wednesday they will try to finish the toilet part so that they can start install the grill at the house..Anyway, below is the latest update for the checklist of renovation work :

1. Get MPSJ permission for the renovation work - Status : DONE. Didn't require permit since the renovation work is done inside the house..The permit will be needed if the renovation is done outside the house
2. Get developer permission for the renovation work - Status : DONE. Paid RM1500 for the deposit
3. Measurement for KC has been done by Patric - Status : DONE. Next step, awaiting my confirmation when they can start their work
4. Design for the Grill has been confirmed. Appoint Bahari for it - Cost : RM7116 (Wrought Iron for complete home),RM9116 (Wrought Iron for complete home + Gate) - Status : Awaiting for the final output :)
5. Got quotation from Lai for the PS - Cost : RM3867.60 (installation + materials) Status : Confirmed the PS design
6. Got quotation from Subra for the wiring - Cost : RM4755 (Wiring for complete home) Status : Confirmed the quotation
6. Submit defect list to developer - Status : DONE. They already start repairing the defects

I just got quotation from Subra, our wire-man contractor..The price is quite OK, below is the quotation from him :


Below is the latest update for the checklist of renovation work, I already remove all the list that are not necessary :) :

2. Get developer permission for the renovation work - Status : Submit the permission letter on Saturday 6th March
3. Measurement for KC has been done by Patric - Status : DONE. Next step, awaiting my confirmation when they can start their work

This morning I had 2 appointments with the wire-man + check all the defects..1st appointment @ 10am with Subra..He is my friend contractor, and after counting how many points + downlight + fan + aircond that we need, he will quoting us the price by tomorrow..

Then, I met up with Mohamad, contractor recommended by Bahari..Same goes with him, calculating how many things that we needed, then he quoting us RM5100 for it..That's including all the wiring + installation of all the electric stuff..Anyway, I need to wait for Subra quotation, so that I can compare both of the price :)..

After that, I'm alone do the house inspection, to check all the defects that the house have..I already marked it with the tape + writing down on the defects list and send it to developer..They promise to finish + touch up all the defects by 2 weeks at least..

8. Got quotation from Haji for the PS - Cost : RM3200 (workmanship) + RM2000 (price estimation for the material) - Status : Canceled
9. Met with Subra wire-man Status : Awaiting for the quotation
10. Call Baha Wire-man for the appointment - Status : Canceled

Hi, yesterday we went to Bahari showroom/factory again, looking for the grill sample..Anyway, we are satisfy with the design, but we decided to adding some flower deco on the right + left of the panel..

After confirmed the design, we paid RM1400 for the deposit so that they can start their work immediately :)..

Today, it suppose my burfday..but this year, didn't have 29 on the calender of February :(..Anyway, my life is just turn to be 30th..
